Oh it's not one directional. It's just monetized that way. Folks who send 'clit pics' have only-fans accounts and get paid money hand over crotch for them.

As the tech savvy person in my family... after fixing the computers of a younger sibling and a nephew... when they were in their teens and twenties they got a LOT of unsolicited pics from Cindy, Mindy, Wendy, Honey, Sugar, Brandy, and Mandy... all of whom seemed to be suspiciously Russian with single-thread bikinis. Invariably one of those boys would click on "something"... and then I'd have to reformat their computer... again...

I wander into the Feedback Forum on occasion, but there's less traffic than there was a year or two ago. I'll occasionally read a story and comment, because some poor soul has no reviews, but that can be hard at times, because so many new writer stories suffer the same issues.

The Omaneinen/AwkwardMD reviews can be interesting, and some bloke proposed a while ago he'd give regular reviews a shot, but I think he's still on the first one.

Other than that, the other forums just seem... strange.

I mostly stay here and the Story Ideas board.

Most of the others don't interest me, and I avoid politics boards wherever I can. It's never fun arguing with true-believers.

Besides, if I want to argue with people, I'll go on twitter (and I deleted that app because I was seeking out arguments).

I've very much avoided the other forums.

I'm done with arguing on social media, and while I suppose finding a flirty fun online "friend" to enjoy some fantasy chat with would be nice, I'm not running around trolling a bunch of other forums on the off chance I meet an actual real woman lol.

I've gotten random messages in DM from "women" here looking to sext, they all sounded pretty fake. I suppose I could be wrong but...

I noticed that in your latest story, you were able to post Pink Floyd's 'Echoes' without any unwanted line spacing. However, in my story, after Laurel approved it, there is an issue with line spacing in the poem. It's difficult to distinguish between the title and stanzas, as well as between each stanza. Could you or someone else please tell me how you were able to achieve this? It seems that each new line creates a space, and I'd like to avoid that in the future.

I still have the scars from the General Forum. I tried BDSM Talk and GLBT Chatter a bit, but not my thing really (different flavors of both to mine, I guess). I used to post a bit in Fetish & Sexuality, but have kinda given up.

Am I missing anything sticking to just here?

GLBT tends to have a lot of picture threads, very few of which are interesting to me. Story Ideas at times can be interesting. Fetish and Sexuality can actually engender some interesting conversations. @policywank , me and others have had some serious discussions down there on various topics.

I used to get a lot of those. But it’s abated. I think every one who wanted to send me one, must have done so already.

Now, as is probably evident from my writing, I’m pretty pro-cock. But there are some very ugly ones out there. In my experience, the ugliness seems proportional to the desire to inflict photos on innocent, unsuspecting, pure-in-heart women. And me as well.

I go in GB here and there, I used to be in glbt pretty often, but it's seemed to devolved in to nothing but porn, and super long threads aren't something I like to just jump in, unless I was already there at some point, and theres not 44k comments since my last post. I check out the art board sometimes, but I don't post my art.

I avoid pretty much every where but here and the Playground. But yeah, I still see it. What's worse is when places like the BDSM boards dwindled, those cliques moved to the Playground and elsewhere. I guess they need the largest possible audience to the depth of their coolness?

The extent to which I've stepped back from all kinds of comment boards has attracted, well, 'comment' recently. As in, I've basically ditched any form of social media I used to be part of. As a result I've had friends and relations reaching out convinced I'm going through some 'issues' or the like (and it's nice they care), but the answer is... social media is a thief of time, quite apart from being a shit-stained echo chamber, and the reality is that I should have better things to do with my time (which isn't meant as an insult to anyone), and I'm trying to force myself to use my time in a better way. So, I'm left with lurking here from time to time, and commenting on the Guardian football (soccer) pages, which still contain some wit amongst the shit. Otherwise... be creative man (he said, looking in the mirror) and stop procrastinating!!!

Interacted with the General Board for a time, years ago. It was fun for a while but I eventually got tired of the tedious cliques and infighting. And they might as well go ahead and rename the Politics Board "Fascist Coffee Shop" if they're never going to work up the guts to moderate that fucking thing. AH is pretty much the only forum I spend time in these days.

I've always wondered why there is even a Politics forum on an erotica website. I've never been to it and have no plans to go. LitE is a way for me to get away from life for a while. Isn't that part of the reason a lot of fiction writers write? To escape into a fantasy world of their own making?

To have a place where the political posts can be placed rather than anywhere else--or that I Mod can redirect them from the other forums.

The same question/answer could apply to why there is a nonerotica section on an erotica Web site.

Because it provides a lightly- or un-moderated cordoned-off space for the raving lunatics to vent. If you don't do that in a "general interest" conversation forum, the nutcases take over and drive the dialog.

IIRC I posted in the Politics board once. Never again. Forums here and elsewhere are like a neighborhood bar. Sometimes you like the folks who hang out there and it's comfortable, sometimes you stumble into a place favored by a biker gang.

I post to the Politics forum. The primary reason is that it's my first notice that something has happened in the political realm and it's a break for me from working with erotica to keep track of that. I post to it here to provide balance to what I think is crazy Swiftboating posting. It's just part of my day on the computer. It wouldn't bother me if it wasn't included here, but it is.
