Frequency of Non-Consent and Abuse in BDSM stories.

Unfortunately I think there’s an audience for non-consensual torture porn. Incels and some followers of certain online personalities don’t think women should even be educated, why should they have to consent to sex and sexual violence. I think those authors are writing out their fantasies.

Personally I love BDSM and like stories that capture the joy and intimacy of it.

Exactly so.

Fascinating thread. I have written stories before (not published here) as well and my sub @HyposMuse has seen those as well. In the end, whether fantasy or "true" I write from what I know.

So my first foray into a BDSM fantasy necessarily has its references to the ongoing consent, safety and aftercare that are part and parcel to my reality.

For me they're part of the experience and from my, the story teller's POV, they enhance the narrative. I know how my baby thinks of them and that's enough. My opinion being just that, an opinion, I am reticent to judge those that don't include those details in their stories.

I don't know how frequent it is, I have not read that deep into that, what I can say though, because of the stigma associated with BDSM, I am afraid to share my own fantasies online about it, about where I am a submissive partner to a dom in a consensual adult relationship, and it would include elements like aftercare. And yes, both characters are adults. I am probably better off just writing it down on a home journal. The trashy UK laws doesn't help either, it's too easy for something to become banned in this country, and gradually people's right to think is being taken away. At least in my mind I am free, free to explore not only sexuality but every other aspect of my inner world, as everyone else is inside their head.
