I frequently wake up in the morning with music playing in my head. I asked my writer's group if that happened to anyone else. Not ONE person copped to it. Seriously? I can't believe it's that rare.
I doubt it.
I always have music in my head. Sometimes it's a bit difficult turning it off when I go to sleep.

It's been almost fifty years ago, but I'll never forget seeing The Stephen Foster Story performed at the amphitheater in Bardstown, Kentucky. If you're ever in that area during the summer months, it is well worth an evening.
