When I needed some help with a Flight game, my Grandson was the one to ask.

Video games and I never got along. Now give me a good old fashioned, pinball machine, a small stack of quarters, and thirty minutes or so to figure it out... :D

I simply wasn't allowed to play video games. Have enjoyed some games on Kindle in the past couple years though.
 
I had books. Who needs video games when you have books? :D

Oh, how true.
I remember one summer (school holidays) when my Dad had a serious moan at me for playing out; he figured that I should have been reading more. The following year he had another moan that I wasn't getting enough fresh air and had my nose stuck in a book all the time.

I thought I was the only child scolded for reading too much :D

We have a priceless photo in the family album, taken one Christmas when the whole family was staying on the Hawkesbury River, with a view something like this:

Every one of us is head down in a book.

So, books AND fresh air.
