When I needed some help with a Flight game, my Grandson was the one to ask.

Video games and I never got along. Now give me a good old fashioned, pinball machine, a small stack of quarters, and thirty minutes or so to figure it out...

I simply wasn't allowed to play video games. Have enjoyed some games on Kindle in the past couple years though.

From what I saw of 'em, I do not think you missed much.

Oh, how true.
I remember one summer (school holidays) when my Dad had a serious moan at me for playing out; he figured that I should have been reading more. The following year he had another moan that I wasn't getting enough fresh air and had my nose stuck in a book all the time.

Not in my own case. There were time when I prayed for rain. . . .
I grew up living two blocks from the library and had to walk past it twice a day to get to and from school. Learning to love reading was just a given.

Every one of us is head down in a book.
So, books AND fresh air.
Reading a good book while sick always made it more vivid to me.
Making sure your wine glass never goes empty can have the same results.
