I'll take a hot roast beef with melted cheddar cheese while you're making them.
.
Beef with Cheese ? Oh my Lord, whatever next ?
Or a good sharp Cheddar - yes please; but hold the mustard; my taste buds have not yet recovered that well .

A good grilled cheese with sharp cheddar and stone ground mustard never goes amiss either.

*Ties on her apron* Ok, sammies coming up! Payment is accepted in hugs and chocolate![]()
Let's see, I have a Lindt dark chocolate bar with almonds and orange. Deal?

Girl, I'll make you two sammies for that!![]()

Two sammies? Yea! A feast!![]()
And the sammies were in no part made with Sam's stolen bread... *blinks and looks innocent*
Oh, yeah. Mind you, if you don't use it soon, we'll have to make Tuscan bread soup. And I don't have a problem with that.![]()
Well, I guess you could toast & butter it. . . .
It's bloody cold out there; I think leaving the heating on and a hot coffee is the right thing to do. . . .
I've never tasted marmalade. I should really try it. *makes mental note: buy some marmalade*

Ye gods, what kind of folks are you with ?
Uncivilised lot!
Marmalade is an art form; [basically, it's Orange Jam/preserve]
given a variety of other fruits (Grapefruit, Lemon, Lime etc.) and a variety of additives (Brandy, Whisky, etc..) it's possible to make a marmalade of dreams.
It you are going to buy it, beware and get the right thing.
Thick cut or fine cut, madam?

Well, that was suitably adolescent, wasn't it?
Let me see, forgive the cr@p spelling but I think it should be:
Voulez vous secuche avec moi, ce soir ?
Will you sleep with me tonight ?
Sorry, ladies, I cocked that one up.
You're allowed one mistake a year, HP. At least you waited until the last few days of the year to make it.![]()

"It ain't over, 'til it's over."
HP you made me giggle! I live in the US South so we have turned being an uncivilized lot into an art form.I'm pretty positive my neighborhood grocery store doesn't carry anything approaching a marmalade of dreams, perhaps at a larger store...I can see myself pondering the jam aisle now!
