When I was young I asked my mom if everything was black and white back in her time. I was so hurt when she rolled her eyes and ignored me.

Not where I was. Bomb sites, a real lack of colour, and soot-blackened stones.
The best place for colour was the Beach; and that was only later on in my childhood.

My childhood was predominated by brown and green. I grew up in a small village and spent my vacations in the country.

It's for a certain type of people- I loved it. Very artsy, visually appealing, and I liked the music.
