Found a cool new toy today

I was replacing some miniblinds in my place today, and hit upon a lovely little idea. Maybe it's been said before but I haven't seen it.

No cane handy? Use the rod off the mini blinds that turn them. On the ones I have, it's maybe a 1/3-1/2 inch thick and about 20 inches long.

Now...if only I had someone to try it with. Never been caned before and would give it a shot at least once.

i can't get my blinds-turny-thingy to unattach. but it sounds like a good idea for those of you who are hardware-savy and can get the thing to come off the blinds! ^_^

Mine is just on a hook, you can lift it right off. But then again I have cheaper blinds, maybe the more upscale ones have the "thingy" attached better.

I have one of those blinds thingies that fell off an old set of blinds. It's one of the things i've been saving for a painy day.

Don't know about you ladies but had enough with the switches used on me as a child. Maybe thats why I turned out Dominant lol. Hope your not suffering to bad today Cirrus and typos was the only discomfort drinking caused you .

I think I've read about using this as a replacement for a cane before, but please be careful all. What I remember reading is that they can splint easily, just like a bamboo cane. And we don't want to hurt our subs like that do we??

Thanks for the tip, but I don't really see how they could split if they're not made of a natural material like wood. The one I have just looks to be a molded piece of PVC. I actually bent it over my knee and it seems pretty supple, as in it would take a LOT of force to break it...probably harder than you'd hit even the most machochistic of the masochists.

I would watch the wooden or faux wooden ones, though...I can see where those would split pretty easily.

And snoozebutton, I'm in no discomfort. I never quite made it to "drunk"...got too tired before that happened.
