and general know it alls, or close to it. Anyone is free to respond really, I guess...

I was asked today by a family member for some advice for her life.

She wants to be a Lawyer, has almost all of her life, since a very early age. Now all she has to do is pass the equivilant of the bar exam.

She is afraid she won't pass, and is taking more classes to make sure she is well prepared. Her Father who is a Lawyer as well, is paying for everything, and supports her and her son, so she can dedicate her time to school, rather than have a job on the side too. She's afraid to let her family down if she fails, but she also would really like to have a job and not rely on others to pay her way.

Have any of you had these types of experiences, where you are living off Mom and Dad, but really don't like it? What advice would you give her, or could I give her? Besides do what you want, and what makes you happiest?

wasn't it Dan Quayle that failed it 3 times or something like that?

Nope - that was John F. Kennedy Jr who kept failing it.

As soon as I posted that I thought.. "wait! Maybe it was JFKJr." Thanks, Dillykins. :)

PC, she's already failed them once, thus the reason she doens't want to fail now. I forgot to put that part in above.

TN and Dilly, here's $50, get a room.

I don't know what kind of hotels you stay at Lobito, but $50 ain't gonna cut it.
