Seriously, I have a shit ton of work to do. So what do I do instead? Spend a long time lacing myself into this thing, fiddling with the lights, then contorting as much as I can with the restrictions imposed by this thing for 24 shots. Only 7 of them made the cut after some more time spent editing. It's ridiculous how much time I just took away from my schoolwork.

The first go around is definitely daunting. I'll completely agree with you on that. I found that I approach it the same way I did with my tattoos & piercings. I'm all sorts of smiles, jumbled nerves, & "aw shucks" enthusiasm until I'm on the table. Then I start to think about every bad decision I've ever made and how this is just one of them and I will never do it ever again. Five minutes after the ordeal I'm planning my next visit.

Actually, the guy who did my daith didn't think he could get a captive bead ring in. So anyone walking past the room heard:

To be honest, my very first love gave me the tattoo and while things with him ended... badly to say the least, it's special. It's sacred, even. I love it and everything that goes with that memory and what my tattoo signifies. It's just too real to put on display. Here or anywhere else.
