I don't care much for Florence, more properly known as Firenze. Except for the Florence Cathedral, the architecture is a hodge-podge of styles and offends my sense of order and continuity.

Plus, it's as hot as the surface of the sun there in the summer, and elbow to asshole with tourists. Not to mention that great works of art (i.e. The Rape of Siena) are stuck in what are essentially, outdoor lean-to's.
