Field House

[JenJ]

Jen smiled and took Dusty's hand as they walked downstairs and outside. She released Dusty's hand as they hit the door. "Okay brace yourself I see reporters."

 

[DustyWolfe]

Dusty gives Jen's hand a firm squeeze then nods as she releases it. She gasps and runs for the car as she sees the reporters. "Damnit" she says as shields her face from any picture they try to take then yells at them "Just leave me alone, let me grieve in peace without the likes of you shoving your cameras in my face."

 

[JenJ]

Jen followed Dusty to the car very proud of her. She held her hand up as the pictures were being snapped. She drove away to the mall making sure they weren't followed. "Perhaps moving is in order or do you think they will leave us alone?"

 

[DustyWolfe]

Dusty looks at Jen and nods. "The house is up for sale, the deal was to be closed on Wednesday. I think it was going for $300,000.oo. That should be enough for us to get an apartment and then buy a house when we get down to Austin... I'm selling the three cars too and getting a decent one. Dr. Nash is giving you a car.. We will both have new ones." Dusty giggles at the thought of Jen in a fancy sports car.

Jen listened to Dusty and nodded. "Okay Dusty that sounds like a good plan." She pondered moving the contents of her secret room without them being noticed she decided to just show Dusty before moving time.

Dusty smiles at Jen, she is a very upbeat mood. You get the sense that there is no love lost with the abscence of her workaholic attorney father and alcoholic mother. "Ok, let's go shopping.. First stop Hot Topics"

 

[JenJ]

Jen smiled. "Okay Hot Topics it is." Jen drives to the mall and that is there first stop. She looks around as Dusty goes shopping.

 

[DustyWolfe]

Dusty grins as she slips out of Jen's sight and changes into an interesting outfit. She comes out of the dressing room and grins at Jen as she stands before her wearing a pear of black leather pants, a white blouse and a black leather vest, in addition to this she has on a pair of "slave boots". They are black leather and made like work boots with a strap around them and a metal ring the outside of them. They aren't made for anything special, just a fashion statement. Jen doesn't notice her at first so she clears her throat and giggles.

Jen turned as she sensed Dusty and took in her appearance. She noted the boots and smiled a bit. "Very nice Dusty." She gave Dusty the once over again and had to stop herself from running her tongue over her lips.

Dusty grins as Jen's approval of the outfit and looks over her shoulder thinking what else she wants. She taps her foot a bit as she thinks and goes back into the dressing room to change. She comes back out and smiles at Jen. "Anything else you can think of? I'm getting a leather jacket once the house sells."

Jen smiled and pondered as Dusty went back to change. "You could get the jacket know and pay me back when the house sells. And I can't think of anything else from here Dusty."

 

[DustyWolfe]

Dusty nods and looks around "Ok, shall we head to Wilson's Leather for the jacket then? Are you sure about this?" she asks as heads to the cash register with her purchases. She eyes the collars on the wall behind the cashier curiously as she pulls out her money. "Oh.. I need something for the funeral still. Unless I go like this. I want to get a leather skirt at Wilson's as well.. I know I have enough cash to pay for that and a dress or something nice."

Jen smiled. "I'm sure about it Dusty and if you run out of cash I'll cover it until you can pay me back it isn't a problem." She noted where Dusty's glance went and smiled thinking about her special gift for Dusty. "Let's go to Wilson's Leather."

Dusty smiles as she gets her change. She looks in her wallet curiously and notices something folded up. She pulls it out and looks at it. It's card with a gift card attached to it. She looks over at Jen curiously then back at the card. "Dusty, I know we have neglected you lately. Here is a gift certificate to go out to eat with a friend or two. It's got $100 on it." Dusty shakes her head and puts her change in her wallet then smiles at Jen. "Ok wow.. Supper is covered." She smiles as they start walking to the leather store.

Jen smiled. "I guess it is covered. You go ahead I'll be with you in a mintue I need to get a gift for my sister and I just spotted something she'd love."

Jen waited until Dusty was well on her way to the leather store before she went back into Hot Topics and looked at the collars trying to find one that would be subtle enough to be worn all the time if Dusty wanted to she spoted a blue one with a little bit of purple around the outside edges and it was sublte being more of a choker then collar. That would be the first of her special gifts for Dusty. She nabbed some lotions for her sister as well not wanting to be called for not getting her something. She went into the leather store to find Dusty.

Dusty nods "ok Jen, see you in a minute" and heads into the store. She browses through the racks of jackets and coats and settles on jacket finally. It's even on the closeout for $50, but it's a perfect fit for Dusty. She snags a nice leather skirt that goes to midthigh and fits snugly though not too tight. Dusty also grabs a belt a double row of pyramid studs then goes to the cash register. She smiles as she checks her money and finds that she has a little left over.

Dusty looks around for a bit trying to see if she can find something for Jen but doesn't really know what Jen has or would want. She goes into a dressing room and changes into the boots, skirt, blouse and jacket then comes back out and waits for Jen. She decides she is wearing this to the funeral because she just doesn't care.

Jen smiled as she saw Dusty waiting. "So did you get what you needed?" She asked looking at Dusty's outfit and smiling.

"So what else do we need to get?" Jen asked thinking of the store she wanted to go into to find what she wanted for Dusty.

 

[DustyWolfe]

Dusty smiles as Jen approaches and answers her quickly "I think so. I really can't think of anything else that I need at the moment. Ohhh.. crap.. I better get a couple of pairs of jeans and shirts... Then maybe Tuesday after practice I will go to the house and get some stuff. Is there anywhere you wanted to go? I can get some jeans JC Penny's and a couple of shirts pretty cheap.. Actually I will use mom's credit card."

 

[JenJ]

Jen smiled. "JC Penny's it is and you don't need to use the credit card you might have a hassle over it know anyways. You can just pay me back later Dusty don't worry about it. I want to stop off in a couple of the little stores I'm looking for something special for someone."

 

[DustyWolfe]

Dusty looks down the corridoor to the outside entrance of the mall and smiles "It will be dark soon, surely the damn paparazzi will leave us alone. Ok, just tell me when you want to stop. I want you to help me pick out a couple of shirts."

 

[JenJ]

Jen smiled and they started walking she stopped at Afterthoughts and looked around for a minute seeing what she wanted a silver heart and silver chain she looked more trying to find something else but not seeing what she wanted. She went and paid for it and she and Dusty continued walking stopping at another of the little jewerly stores and that is where she found it the silver J that sparkled and she got that and she and Dusty resumed there way to Penny's. "Okay so what did you have in mind?"

Dusty follows Jen around quietly, a bit lost in a thought at the moment. She smiles as they head to JC Penny's. "Ohhhh I don't know.. something cute I guess. I'm tired of being made fun of at school...."

 

[JenJ]

Jen smiled. "I think we can pick something out that will work. They make fun of you seriously?" Jen didn't like hearing that.

 

[DustyWolfe]

Dusty nods, her face a bit grim. "Yeah... They do.. I was never allowed to buy my own clothes. Dad always bought them for me. I've always come across as being very butch so they tease me about it. Boy they would die if they saw me now" Dusty says with a laugh. She stops walking and looks at Jen "I guess it really doesn't matter. I really shouldn't let it get to me."

Jen smiled. "That is very understandable we will get you something that will make them stop picking on you. Do you have any ideas because you can get what ever you want."
