Over the last decades, an increasing effort from both academia and industry has gone into the development of sex robots – that is, machines in the form of women or children for use as sex objects, substitutes for human partners or prostituted persons. The Campaign Against Sex Robots highlights that these kinds of robots are potentially harmful and will contribute to inequalities in society. We believe that an organized approach against the development of sex robots is necessary in response the numerous articles and campaigns that now promote their development without critically examining their potentially detrimental effect on society. As humanoid robots become more widespread it is necessary to develop an engaged ethical response to the development of these new technologies.

Feminists want women to remain the sole gatekeepers to heterosexual companionship, and sex robots enable men to find companionship without having to negotiate with a woman. Sex robots would annihilate female privilege and this cannot be allowed in their worldview. Women would lose their power of sexual manipulation, forcing them to adapt to a new world in which sexual manipulation is no longer a thing. (Which, mind you, would benefit women.)

Well FWIW I don't think there is any threat from SexBots for a few years yet, they will remain something that only the real kinky or lonely go for UNTIL humanity advances sufficiently in robotics that we develop very advanced (but very obedient) AI that is basically indistinguishable from humans. At that point you can bet your bottom dollar SexBots will become a VERY big deal.

But I doubt feminists will care. Sure men will be busy fucking their ridiculous cartoon anime bots with the DD breasts, vice like pussy and a serious submissive streak but woman the world over will be screaming at the top of their lungs as the hunky stud bots fuck them like the machines they are for hours on end and then eat them with a tongue that's probably literally electrically charged.

Fewer men in general will be open to sexual manipulation, fewer men will be buying gifts for women and doing things for women. Plus women like having power over orbiters - the men who pursue them but keep getting turned down. Case in point, the orbiters who shower them with chivalry and gifts. When that's gone, shit's gonna hit the fan worldwide.

The number of studs is quite limited and it means women will have to share the studs - and that's going to be another gargantuan set of problems.

The first generation of walking sex robots will be shit, and the men who turn to them will be the ones on the margins. But it's the future generations of sex robots that represent the actual threat.

In the later generations, real women will be competing with sex robots who are honest, loving companions who don't require the man being her walking wallet or meat shield. Sex robots don't have to be utterly submissive slaves to become a competing force - they just have to offer romantic companionship without the trials and tribulations that women put men through.

And scientists say that artificial wombs will be available in 30 years. Scientists are also saying that men can be cloned as easily as women. You know what that means. Women are going to go into an absolute panic over their loss of importance in terms of human survival, thanks to technology. But it won't be the end of the world for women - they'll adapt and find new ways to be relevant, just as men are doing now, thanks to technology. In the end it'll be the most liberating technological revolution in history, for women.
