I've found that there are two ways to feel smarter: one is to talk to stupid people, and one is to talk to smart people that make you think. Does anyone else feel that way? The second group is rare, but talking to them is treat.

The first one reminds me of something a very wise person once told me.

"Do not argue with idiots. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience."

I find it hard to talk to stupid people without arguing, so I keep my distance. Usually. :D I do agree that talking to smart people that make you think really is a treat, though, and I enjoy it greatly.

I would agree. Talking to stupid people only makes the head hurt after a while. Talking to smart people gives one the chance to grow or at least think differently. I can respect both sides but it is more interesting to be challenged.

Haha I guess sometimes I would feel that way haha
But why would u want to feel smarter  if you know your already smart
There's no need to seek that feeling haha
If you know your smart then keep it that way :p
Everyone's unique in their own way :)

I make a living at it.

What do you do?

looking at their profile, it would appear that they share something with LnD

I actually got this stoopid, negative blah blah lady to laugh while providing her great customer service the other day. God she was just awful. I noted that I wasn't going to need to charge her the assembly fee for her item since she'd opted to put it together herself. She went on and on about how a total idiot could do it to which I replied, "Then you should have no problem."

This gal appreciates people that are smarter than me. I wish they were around more often.

the trouble with always wanting to share time with the smarties is that it all depends on the smarties wishing to spend time with those not so chocolaty

It's not me. It does strike me as Lifendeathish.

i wondered for a moment till i read its profile ... it shares teh blithe cheerfulness of the low wattageness. but vive l'appiness, amirite, brah? coo
