I decided to finally open up the box that held the parts to my desk and attempt to put them together. Sitting on the floor and typing was wearing on my back and I'm ready to settle into this place a little more.


It only took me 1 1/2 hours, and I only screwed up one thing - okay I actually screwed up the same thing twice lol - but it wasn't a huge deal. It isn't something that is easily seen so I just worked with it.

But I did it! On my own!

Now I know that for a good many of you ladies this isn't a big deal, but I've always been a girlie girl and had a husband who did this sort of thing. It was just his role in our marriage, one of those things we take for granted when we have a partner.

So for me this was a huge accomplishment and I'm feeling very proud of myself as I sit here (yes actually sitting in a chair! lol) and type this out.
