I am an elderly bi man. i am currently writing a story about a young man who attempts suicide as the realization dawns that he is or might be gay.
Here is my question for all gays (bis too). i know that in the past, say 40s and 50s, many men loathed gays with a passion only to discover they were one. So here's what I want guys to tell me. (I have no idea if this is related to lesbians or not.) Did any of you go through a stage during which you became what you hated. I guess I am talking about homophobic gays, sort of. How did it feel? How did you overcome it? How did you finally accept that you are gay and see it as a good thing?
