Famine

There's rebels down in Texas.

I think there are Mexicans yearning to be free...

I know we beat them back at the Alamo, but let's open the border to them.

Yes. The hard push to the Left is having
the opposite effect with those that
it purports to benefit.

It seems, contrary to Leftist belief,
minorities want the same things as majorities
and don't much appreciate well-intentioned roadblocks.

On more fronts than they can imagine. In a very real sense the Wuhan Flu has been a blessing in disguise.

It's coming. Oh, not necessarily to the US but it's going to get real ugly out there long about the late third and fourth quarter of this year.

Biden's energy policies and the Russian invasion of Ukraine are creating the perfect storm of food shortages.

Some facts.

Russia, the worlds largest exporter of wheat has invaded Ukraine, the worlds number 5 exporter. Russia is unable to export this year (except to China) and Ukraine isn't going to get their crops in the ground.

There is already a world wide shortage of fertilizer. Russia is the worlds largest exporter of fertilizer, now embargoed. Russia and Belarus combined are the worlds largest exporter of Potash. Many farmers will be growing this year without fertilizer with the commiserate decrease in crop yields.

Nitrogen fertilizer is made from Methane (natural gas). The US could begin making Nitrogen based fertilizer if we had ample supplies of the gas..................we don't. And it would take time to expand those plants that do produce Nitrogen fertilizer if we did.

Potash is mined and between Canada and the US enough could be mined to cover domestic needs. Expansion of those operations will take time as well and time has run out.

Food prices are going to skyrocket in those nations where the food is even available while those nations wholly dependent on imports are going to spiral into civil unrest and social upheaval, always the product of famine.

Just watched youtube vids. of Russian influencers.

While clearly pro-Putin propaganda, they offer a glimpse of what's going on in Russia's big cities.

Honestly, Russian laypeople are far less affected by the economic sanctions, than neighboring countries. Let alone poor African and Asian countries.
And according to Bloomberg, only half of Russian oligarchs were directly sanctioned.

And most importantly, analysts claim that the effect economic sanctions in the Middle East started to appear only one year later, and only then did they have some bearing on the wars.
The consequences of stupid decisions made by less than wise leaders ripple across the globe.

But are they just stupid decisions, or is any of their political donors dictating them?
Following the money, which corporation or whatever is now becoming richer?

He does do a pretty good job of destroying the Democrat narrative that all of the Racism is on the Right...

He's different that Robbie, zip, Pooks and the others who try and keep
it (and anti-Semitism) close to their vest while trying to act
as if it's not them, it's anyone who points it out...

Unlike them. He's truly honest
(and self-aware).
Lol, please elaborate on how I'm racist or anti-semitic.

I would love to hear that.

I don't recall suggesting other any other race were sub-human.

I hear Nancy keeps a huge, well-stocked refrigerator.

She's chiming in with Uncle Joe, "Let them eat ice cream!"

I guess the "slaves" haven't figured out that in lean times they're the first to be sacrificed.

It's begun already.

India has banned the export of wheat while protestors in Iran have set bakeries on fire over high bread prices.

The two events are related, just not to each other.

And farmers in Kansas pay dear for fertilizer
meaning the price of wheat will be darling too...

And diesel.

Indeed. A big telltale will be if the Chinese start offering wheat for export this fall. I think they'd be foolish to do so but who knows how Xi wants to salvage his economy?

This is NOT going to be a one year thing. 2023 is going to be as bad or worse.
