It's interesting to me that fiction and role-play are so central here at Lit. I most enjoy reading about others' real life experiences. I recently had a chat with a woman and was able to ask about her sexual awakening, early experiences, best experiences, and I really got a rise out of hearing about her past and she really got off re-living everything.

Do you prefer talking about and sharing your sexual past or would you rather engage in role-play? Do you prefer reading fictional erotica or reading about true experiences?

This is a difficult question to answer. I think both fact and fiction can be turn ons. Sharing real life experiences can be erotic as well as reading erotic fiction.

All my stories are based in truth, though I don't make that explicit when posting them. I personally feel more comfortable talking about actual experiences, or planned, future experiences are okay, that hopeful.. we are going to try... this, this and this soon... is attractive too because you have that underlying want, that hopefulness is nice.

The stories so far that I have written, though not bases of fact, are based on something that could really happen.
Most, well many, story tellers use fantasy or RP for inspiration. Sometimes just a sentence someone writes will kick off a story idea.

I prefer to be challenged about my sexual past x not all of it is good or nice, but still masturbate remembering x

Turns me on more to read about Real Life experiences as can normally identify with most as had quite vafied and adventurous sex life even when married x

Having said all this, still get so tremendously turned on during roleplay as the only gateway to my more 'forbidden' fantasies x

Fact. If it seems at all like I'm being told something fake just to get me or the other person off - that's a serious turn off. There's so much eroticism in truthfulness, you don't need to make it up.
