Exploding nipples are indeed a serious threat. I'm not sure why you all are taking this so lightly!

They need to be defused orally by an expert. To try it without the proper training is suicidal. You have been warned. It's not my fault if some damn fool puts a hot nipple in their untrained mouth and explodes everything unawares.

early attempts

Early attempts at difusal were disasters !

Technicians attempting to put ice on the damn things in order to stabilize the volatile chemicals involved, were met by a far more insidious danger: pointy sharp "poke an eye out" type protuberences (sp?).

I hope you all stop joking about this and realize that others have failed trying to do this (and paid the ultimate sacrifice).

Now, before I date, I do the ice cube test.
