Won 14 of their last 15 and have gained 8 games on Detroit in their last 10 games. Big 3 game series coming up starting on Tuesday.

Injuries and guys not living up to their contract/expectations was a killer. And even though the pitching was very good, the lack of a true closer hurt all season.

The last few outings Chapman looks to be a bit tired. He threw 27 pitches tonight in his 1 inning. With the Toronto series and then Detroit I’m hoping he gets some rest on Sunday.

He was dripping sweat in the 9th his hat was completely soaked with sweat, he definitely earned that save, somewhere around 30 pitches for the save
