The people I know and have met here in this little part of California have been pretty interesting with pretty remarkable lives so far. One was in the Movie "Gidget." One played a character in a few soap operas. One is the son of Harpo Marx and had Larry of the Three Stooges as his Godfather.

Tonight I find that one woman was a college friend of Jim Morrison. They took a few classes together at UCLA. She was asked if she feels strange hearing a song by the Doors after so many years have passed. Her answer was to sort of describe her relationship with Morrison.

According to her, he was very shy and soft spoken and HATED the limelight that went with his fame. They took a poetry class together and that's where she realized that he was brilliant. They'd sit in the park going over poetry, talking about his thoughts on what he would be doing in life. That was when he and the Doors first started playing together on campus.

Makes me appreciate that EVERYONE has their own personal story that is fascinating.
