Being a pet owner sucks at the end.

I have to have my 15 and 1/2 year old German Shepherd put to rest this afternoon. She has advanced liver disease, isn't eating and is losing her back end a bit. Absolutely heartbreaking but I'm doing this for her. A vet is coming to the house this afternoon. I am dreading this.

I’m so so sorry. It’s the most difficult thing to do isn’t it. But like wander says, you’re doing it for her out of love. But it’s such a painful feeling. But she’ll be at peace and out of pain. Xx
