And in those three things that drive me crazy are the reasons why she is so thoughtful.
Michelle read me poems tonight that I wrote her nearly 30 years ago.
Even though they were unbelievably boring she read them with a passion and cried. The tears seemed unnecessary to me but to her were incredibly important.
I felt somewhat moved by her emotion.

We made love...foregoing primal movements and replaced them with passion.
Now, I sit watching her paint a moon so brilliant and close that I feel I could reach out and capture it. My gift to her....

Even though it dominates the sky above, I would trade it not for the heavenly star that sits in front of me. Rapt in concentration and enamoured in her art.

Sleep will overwhelm me....but not before my love for this woman does.

I've had that. I've also had the opposite. "Oh shit, they read that. Now I feel really stupid for even posting it. What if they think I'm weird!? What have I done?!?!"
