Even More Random Thoughts

I wonder if Epimetheus ever regretted opening Pandora's Box, or if he understood that it was gonna happen eventually, because Utopia is a fallacy?

I think it is the latter. No regrets ever.

You used to ask for those “brain dumps”. Be careful what you ask for. ;)

Such a small thing...yet accomplishes so much.
The feeling of contentment from such an innocent touch.
I explain this to you now, so that you understand,
The power that you have...by simply holding my hand.

If you're going to get in a snit because someone is closing a Facebook page instead of handing it over to someone else, and you become a whiney bitch...don't be upset when you're called out on it.

Just go start your own business page...sheesh.

When I can remember my dreams, which isn't unheard of but also not all that common, there tend to be a lot of recurring elements. Unfamiliar places, getting lost. Geography that shifts and changes without warning (though in the dream almost always without comment or notice) and has neither rhyme nor reason. And a lot of repeating of the same or similar tasks.

Tonight's dream was a fine example. Staying in an unfamiliar room, with a roommate who was never the same person twice over the course of the dream in a bedroom down the hall. My bed in it's own room, but with my stuff piled on the floor nearby for whatever reason. It was the middle of the night, but I kept having to perform object search tasks for things that I forgot or misplaced before I could go to bed.

Getting lost in the often shifting corridors and staircases of the restaurant/nursing home/library/orphanage/apartment building where I was staying. Constantly winding up in the wrong room by accident and having to search for mine.

And then finally finding mine, with that lonely bed and all of it's stuff piled nearby.

But before I could go to sleep, the room suddenly had a second bed in it. Occupied by a very naked and very willing Eliza Dushku. Which then spontaneously transitioned the dream into a very, very vivid sex dream.

Which, of course, I woke up in the middle of.

My brain is weird.

How do we work and what controls this shit that goes on

Ten years ago, my hair went gray at the temples overnight and hasn't changed. 5 years ago, I had a dark, bushy beard. Now my beard comes in like Joseph and the technicolor dreamboat. WTF?
