JPEG artifacts and noise are caused by compression when an image is saved over and over, resized and then some more save overs.
Always the possibility of a really old dinosaur camera sensor.
Most likely I’d bet a stolen image though.

There's only so much cold I can deal with. In Michigan, winter was far too long for me. I did that for 16 years before giving up.

Here, it's usually much warmer by now, so I'm not going to complain too much about it getting to 107° for a few days. I'm just mad the pool at my mom's isn't ready.
