This tequila shortage is getting out of control
Look...I stocked up and I'm not sharing!!!
I had to break out my emergency tequila tonight. I have plenty of Halloween candy to trade.
Not the emergency stash!!! That's a bit drastic.
What kind of candy?
I know right? I was saving it for a special occasion. Like Tuesday.
I have like 5 boxes of full sized candy bars. I bought extra and no one showed this year. You name it I got it.
Okay, you made me laugh. Tuesday...to go with tacos, right?
You wouldn't happen to have a Baby Ruth, would you?
You know about Taco Tuesday?
I have a box of Baby Ruth and Butterfingers

Wow, she packed up both her alts and left.
I had a psych prof that talked about little kids repeating the same story books or movies…said they were trying to resolve an issue they had…I only think about this because I’ve pretty much listened to the same song all day today.

That's an interesting theory. Not sure I agree, though since brain development in babies is about repetition to create pathways to learn a new skill. So, in my mind it's always been more about enjoyment and comfort of the familiar and predictability, esp for children.
Maybe it's more relevant to adults, but I also listened to the same song several times on repeat yesterday - but I hadn't listened to it for a long time and realised how much I enjoyed it so kinda saturated myself. Maybe there's an issue there![]()
I have been known to listen and sing along to the same song all day long, especially songs that expressed my pain like I couldn't. "I'm not that Girl" from Wicked and "On my Own" from Les Mis - unrequited love. While I still love those songs, I haven't listened to them since I moved on from that dead end relationship.

Well he also said we repeat behavior because we get something out of it good or bad. Apparently I just need to hit a brick wall a bunch before I can move on lol.
