In my random views of threads I don't often visit, I've noticed a trend towards people posting a LOT more open and honest expressions of themselves (not that I would KNOW that's the case - it just feels like it). For some, I can honestly say the descriptions changed my impression of them in a positive way. For others, their rationalization of their asshole nature was very unimpressive and confirmed (from afar and without really knowing them) my perceptions of them. But, all in all, it's been refreshing to learn more about people.

Why is it proving so difficult to transfer files? It used to be as easy as copy/paste, or a direct file transfer. I’ve had so many error messages that I’m barely 5% through what I need to transfer, and I’ve been at this two hours!

You might have corrupt files. If you transferring to a USB you might switch to a USB drive with a higher transfer rate.

I gave up after six hours! I was trying to transfer from an iPod and iPhone to a laptop via a USB cable. I haven’t even completed three folder transfers in that time
