I've just been down to the square opposite where a crowd of several hundred have gathered to watch an impromptue parade of cars, vans, bikes blaring horns, flags flying, people hanging from sunroofs, wheely's in clouds of smoke. It is just fabulous. Such enthusiasm, joy and celebration. God knows what they will do if the reach the final!

I'm so happy for them. If England qualify, I m definitely going to Stadium 11 to watch the game on the big screen, should be just fantastic.

Well this night was a thriller. Phew. I switched back n forth between the two games and I think both were quite entertaining.
What a goal by Portugal, wow.
And what an effort by Russia.
Those guys were running as if they stood in the final. Man, that's sportsmanship.
Greece got VERY lucky, just think of Spain going through even though they lost. That would have been weird. But another goal for Russia would have done the trick.
But it's good it didn't happen because Greece deserves it more than Spain to be there. Spain as always will be going home early.

But I came to the conclusion that I will complete the Predictor game but other than that will make no more predictions or talk about game results ever. I predicted win for Greece and Spain.....

Havent been here for a while ...

First of all congrats to Portugal ... (although it cost me points in the Predictor game, I had my money on a draw).

And huge congrats to the Czech ... I was told that game was amazing (didnt see it myself unfortunately). Now they'll send their second unit vs. Germany, which helps us a lot.

Speaking of Germany ... damn it ... how could they not win this? I had predicted a win AND jokered it ... But hearing the Dutch lose was sweet ... , especially after a 2-0 lead.

And huge congratz to the greek for reaching the quarter finals. Now the first german has reached the quarter finals, more will follow soon .

And on a side note ... before todays games I was third in the predictor game (and I would have been first if the damn germans had won it) .
