Western?...UMMMMMMMM NO!! LOL I prefer english and jumping...like your friend. :D:rolleyes::D

Ah well, What can you do. I prefer it, she hates it. But when a car plowed through one of their corrals and let their cattle out... Who was it that herded them back up? Using a good ole western saddle and rope, I might add... Why yes, it was the American *cowboy* which by the way, they make fun of... Showed them....lol

And a fact about Anna, she is an adrenaline junky... Go fast, Go high, or Go home. Except when he plays with her shetland(sp) ponies...

Herded cows with my TB a time or two in english gear.. she didn't have a clue what she was doing but she had fun... not bad for a dressage horse..:D

I dont care what you say, You can have your Arabians, Walkers, Spaniards, and anyother breed... I still stick to my trusty Appaloosa. I took her over with me. Lots of fun... Great horse, I wouldnt sell/trade her for the world...

A sad tragedy occurred near me this last week...

Most of these animals were older horses including one owned by one of the firefighters who responded to the fire...The fire was put out quickly but all the horses had succumbed to smoke inhalation..

A true tragedy for the horses and their owners, can't imagine the scene in that burnt out barn when the firemen finally made it in.

Just finished reading a John Lyons book about horses and barns/stables and 1 thing he recommends in all is a sprinkler system but as with all things cost is always the issue.

I love that you are that devoted to this breed of horse. Sounds like you have a great horse and love her...neat.
