There are also many many traditional tea places on the east coast because of all the historical stuff. Clotted cream, finger sandwiches and pots of tea galore.
Fine. Snob. Relative historical sites. Back to the overlord days of British subjugation and exploitation.

I thumb my nose in your general direction.
Thought to Florida, but otherwise I've spent very little time on the East Coast. There are also many many traditional tea places on the east coast because of all the historical stuff. Clotted cream, finger sandwiches and pots of tea galore.
Shouldn't you be dumping tea in some antecedental harbor?I thumb my nose in your general direction.

I grew up taking all this stuff for granted. Abortion access, birth control- those were all standard by the time I reached majority.Rights are hard fought for. And can be so easily taken away.
A lesson to all of us.

I might run a 10k. If someone was chasing me with a knife. But honestly, I’d rather just try to not die and kill the attacker. The running bit would just be torture.Managed to drag myself to the treadmill.
So. I am getting back on the running pony. My body wants to feel good again.
I am a slow runner. It takes me over an hour to run a 10k. I just can't seem to get my pace up.
However -
I've been doing a little reading that proposes it is easier to increase speed if you start with short increments rather than trying to speed up on a longer run. I mean, I've heard worse theories.
With this in mind, I've started the Couch to 5K program running at increased speed, and continuing to increase until I'm comfortably doing thirty minutes at the pace I want.
It may seem like I'm making a fuss about little, but my pace is stubborn.
I wonder why.![]()
Eh. You work up to it. Once you get in a groove it feels ahmazing.I might run a 10k. If someone was chasing me with a knife. But honestly, I’d rather just try to not die and kill the attacker. The running bit would just be torture.
How do you feeling about hiking?I might run a 10k. If someone was chasing me with a knife. But honestly, I’d rather just try to not die and kill the attacker. The running bit would just be torture.
I just don’t have the runner physique. I’m made for lifting heavy things, not running.Eh. You work up to it. Once you get in a groove it feels ahmazing.![]()

I mean, if it’s just day hiking, sure. But camping on the ground? Unless you’re going to slather my back in icy hot the next morning, thats a no go.Well, fine! Just be that way.
