I looked it up because I never heard of Murderbot before and it looks really interesting. I’m putting it on deck to read as soon as I finish the last Dungeon Crawler Carl book. I’ll need something to distract me from despair that I have to wait for book 8

Nominally hard sci-fi, continuous dry humor, and a cyborg security construct that just wants to be left alone to watch The Rise and Fall of Sanctuary Moon (a space soap opera) but is continuously interrupted with trying to keep his stupid humans alive.

When you search Murderbot on Goodreads Dungeon Crawler Carl pops up under "Readers also enjoyed". Hmmm, color me intrigued.

I've never heard of progression fantasy before.

I rarely like a video series if I've read the book first. The adaptions so often butcher the original in plot and character and tone.

Huh. Turns out there are non-Catholic nuns. (Who knew. )

But, a little research seems to say they all take vows of chastity.

While that aspect is not super appealing, if they are hard to come by due to circumstance anyway, perhaps the tradeoff for a life of quiet contemplation isn't the worst way to go.
