I am unsure about this one.
I have seen just as many stories about people who fall in love on line, meet up and end up not liking each other as I have seen the opposite. Are platonic friendships any different? More to the point, are our expectations of platonic friendships so very different from our expectations of romantic relationships so as to allow for a more positive outcome for platonic relationships?

I would put myself out there for a few people I have met on here, yes.
