Dommes in Government

I heard somewhere that there are more professional Dommes in Washington D.C. per capita then in any other city in the U.S.A.

Anyone know if this is true? Or what it means?

From reading a number of interviews with, and articles about professionals, it seems that men in "positions of power" are steady customers. Stress relief, I imagine. Not to mention income.

Well, if these guys play at being subs to compensate for being Doms at work, does the opposite apply? Do people who are subs at work play at being Doms in the bedroom?

I have a friend in a position of power who lives there. He seriously offered on a number of occasions to set me up in business as a Domme and told me about how much business there was to garner there. Obviously, I refused for a number of reasons.

He said the men he knew who would be clients spent their lives telling other people what to do and being in charge and they craved a role reversal. Also, that a lot of them did work that on some level they found repugnant and this gave them a desire, whether conscious or not, to be punished and humiliated.

I honestly don't know if this is the truth, but this is what he was feeding me when he was trying to get me to do this (in the mid 90s).

What he says makes sense; I can certainly understand it.
