Keeping a secret life from your spouse or significant other may eventually come back to haunt you if it's found out. So, my wife and I have no such secret desires or hobbies. In my opinion, too many married couples get hung up on the idea "I own YOUR genitals!" Whether it's the husband or wife, that just seems to me to be asking for jealousy, suspicions, and eventually a growing lack of trust in any long marriage. And once those seeds are planted, they never go away.

When I was married, I did tell my ex. Sometimes I would tell him what certain threads said. He's met people that I met here. In fact, his gf used to be the ex gf of a good friend I met here. Unfortunately, the relationship went south, and we kept her when I pitched him to the curb.
