Does size matter?!

Do you think that the size of the story matters? My story, 'Alone in London' is a lot shorter than the others because I unfortunately had to write it rather quickly straight into an email.
I felt that it was too rushed and that it was hard to develop. Do you agree?

concentrating on the climactic part of the story isn't a bad thing - some people create such a whirley story around the sex that it becomes like one of those 70s porn flicks where there's so much build up and a really crappy sex sequence that it leaves you feeling like you wasted your time. your story was kind of depressing (cement floors, dank room, peeling wallpaper, london in general, but in the dead of winter), but it was also kind of sweet, almost passive. You should do a part two with a lot more prolonged detail.

To me, the story in London was a bit hurried but it was realistic. The need for the organism was deep and the result was satisfying.

I had suspected that the author took a real life experience and then built some "facts", adjectives around it.

Is there any thread there?

You may be on to something but I have to say that I have never reached "organism" before. What is it like!!

I rather liked the breavity of your story, it left me looking for more and you've supplied the next part that as well. It's like having a good book to read that you have to put down to go to work, then coming home and finding out what happened next. Keep it up. Those two lonely hearts have got to find each other before too long, and really discover that there is someone "out there" for them.

Crystal, I agree with all the above. Nothing wrong with a shorter story. I enjoyed both segmentss. I find that sometimes trying to stretch a story out for the sake of making it longer just makes it messier. Oh, and when you get your "organism" please let me know. I want one too!

Crystal, Luvnthots,

FYI:
"Organism is the state that men revert back to, after sex.

Crystal, your stories are great. Keep it up.
