30%. Millions of dollars. That puts Obama and Biden to shame. Yeah, yeah, Obama and Biden would love to get their hands on that "30%." They do not like the idea of it going to charity.

I guess Obama/Biden they think they know how to spend that 30% better than the charities can.

lol.. 'bigbird is alive' hahah

leaf, you got me rolling here.

Well, the organization he belongs to demands ten percent. Not asks, demands. I don't call that charity.

i hate presidents, the only ones i like.. is the ones in my pocket...if you know what i mean.

Romney got every penny back in campaign contributions, favors and preferential treatment from fellow Mormons, plus he was able to deduct it in his tax returns.

so if the mob demands you pay them a cut to stay in business.. does that mean giving money to the Mafia is charity?

I sense that somebody has forgotten how to use the quote function.

No, if Romney gave me 10 million then yes, he would earn the credit for charity

They ask, they do not demand. Romney is under no obligation to give them a penny. He does so out of choice. Nothing more, nothing less.

Of course, I expected posts like yours and the others. He gives to charity, so you overlook the 30% to find fault with it. At the end of the day, he gave 30% - and I think that's more than Obama and Biden combined.

they made him an offer he couldnt refuse

and it's called "tithing", not " charity"

Catholic Church has tithing a well. No one is under any obligation to give to any church. Plain and simple. People give because they want to. So the 30% Romney does give is a huge amount. If only the Libs gave 30% as well. Imagine the benefit to the masses.

except the LDS ARE obliged...and most of his contributions were to the LDS

If Romney tithed (10%), and that was 30% of his taxable income, then his total actual income must have been three times as much.

Show me the law (or doctrine) that state he MUST give.

lol, you are so literal.... members of the LDS have been excommunicated for not paying their protection money...errrr...tithe

but in your world " if there isn't a law...it doesnt happen"

too funny

But you acknowledge he gives 30%. We agree that he does not have to give 30%, but does so.
