OK..not taken in the canoe..but close.

And a relaxed way to see a bit of the countryside.

Actually no rocks, But I bottomed out a couple times on underwater logs or big clumps of old reed root masses, or something.

I was able to scoot the whole canoe inch by inch and get through.

That's what they're for. The bottoms of my canoes have countless gouges and scratches in them. They aren't art pieces. I've been thinking of building a stripper, but I don't know if I want to have to care for it, too.

Makes me wonder one thing. Where the heck do you find clear water like that to use a clear boat in? :rolleyes:

Serious? The water I was in ws that clear, beneath the gunk on top. Of course I was in the backwaters, the middle of the lakes were crystal clear...spring fed.

Oooooh! Glad you enjoyed, Turd. And the pics came out beautiful.

Thanks..I was hoping to see more wildlife..but they were skittish.
