I know I do.
For some reason I always get myself into some kind of accident at work Grrrr.

In the last month I have:
Fallen from a roof 10 feet to the ground.
I have stapled my own finger while putting up Insulation.
I have shot a nailgun in my left hand.
I was knocked off a latter, today, when the siding on a house came down on my head.
I have stepped on nails and have them come through my boots at least a dusin times.
I dropped part of a wall on my foot, when I was taking down a section in a house.

Anyone else??
Dont tell me I am all alone in the world with bad luck and accidents.

LOL!!

HEY!! I may always do something stupid that causes personal injury LOL. BUt I always get the job done!

I'm sure you do but I don't believe our liability insurance company is willing to take that chance! ;)

My hubby would call you a 'roundhead'...lol..I have no idea what it means but its a word that every construction worker I have ever met uses for someone that is shooting themselves with nail guns and falling off ladders. :D

LOL!!
I know the term thank you very much.

Though I usually go by the name Kung Pow for some odd reason LOL

Btw I wasn't the only one who fell off the ladders, nor was I the only one who shot himself in the hand with a nail gun that week LOL

This isn't really promotional is it?? *Ahem*

OMG, so your whole crew is roundheads? lmao

*making another note not to buy house in Michigan till I know if Xander and his crew of roundheads built it*

LOL

HEY!!!

We build GOOD house me and my roundhead crew damnit!! LOL

We just...well you know......put a little more sweat and BLOOD into the work....*Ahem*

Alright, alright, alright...I'll stop picking on you! :)

I'm not nearly as bad as you but I can be a bit clumsy at times...trip over my own feet, fall off the sidewalk, run into stuff all the time. I have bruises that I have no idea where they came from. My Mom calls them drunk bumps...lol..which would be ok if I was drunk when I got them. ;)

LOL Okay, you were Hurtin' me feelin's' ;)

Okay more please. Me and Estevie cant be the only people on here with an uhm....accident problem.

Xan your a rookie!

Many, many years ago while going thru an apprenticeship, we were remodeling a hospital. My job was to take a ten foot joint of 1/2" conduit around and make holes in an existing plaster ceiling for conduit hangers. I held the pipe at chest level and hit the end with a hammer to make the holes. (yep stupid) I only missed once, luckily they set my nose quickly in the E.R.

the list goes on....

4" pipe die dropped on left foot....2 toes broken

2" conduit 90 degree elbow dropped right foot.....same result

chiseling a block wall......left hand broken thumb

slipped and fell while entering a jobsite....dislocated right thumb
(reset it myself) and tore the muscle that goes across your shoulder to your arm.

climbing onto the back of a pickup truck.....muddy feet....slipped .stress fracture to my right heel.

And your right, the hands take a beating on any construction job. I hope your luck improves........mine did I quit working!

 :D

Xander, I'm hurt. You never told me about your accidents. When I ask about work, you just say it's fine.

Well, fine. Be that way.
