"...we're not going to talk about positive policy proposals we're going to spend our time telling the party that lost how to improve itself on the one hand and slamming it with insults on the other."

Funny, the partisan obsession they have. I guess it just shows they have no plans, or ability to actually solve any of the country's problems.

first, i think they're going to have to listen to everybody whine about the many reasons their party lost

I almost wish they would have won the house of reps, eliminating any possible excuses...

So the 500 "conservative" books that come out each year with titles like "Liberal lies that destroy America" are full of positive solutions?

Close it on your way in.:D

and look who wandered in...

There ARE an enormous amount of those sort of threads this time around, aren't there?

So much shock and awe over Romney's defeat. I realize that the "usual suspects" in the morning RWCJ had deluded themselves into thinking Romney would win in a landslide, but even the lukewarm Republican types seem to be overwhelmed by their defeat

after raising taxes, they'll start the deconstruction of the CIA again...(petraeus )...that's right on schedule.

Continue to drag the United States into the 21st Century. You and your ilk will, of course, come kicking and screaming every step of the way.

True, there is a deficiency of Democratic plans and abillities to solve national problems, or they would have done that stuff 3& 1/2 years ago.
( Like repealing tax laws which reward outsourcing jobs to China- which Obama was so recently campaigning against. )

As for the other-

It reminds me of how an agrieved party might re-act to somebody insuffrable.

* Like those arrogant ignoramuses who claim that rape is a gift from God if it results in a pregnancy.

* Like that holier-than-thou hypocrite Rush Limbaugh, the narcotics abuser and advocate of the war on drugs, get tough on crime, three strikes laws, and the like.

* Like that holier-than-thou rascist Pat Buchanan, who wants to wall out the Mexicans, but doesn't have the same problem with illegal Irish in Boston, and illegal Canadians living or working in states on the other border.

What unemployed college grad is going to listen to well reasoned arguments about how deficit spending is generational injustice from a party that is trying to kick him off his parent's health insurance because they'd rather scrap Obama care in it's entirety than keep the common sense reforms? That could piss him off.

I think the Liberals here are trying to give the conservatives a clue. It has nothing to do with the Fox "More takers than makers" explanation. It's not the Federal Budget, but it's still about math. Only this time, we're cutting demographic groups from our potential voters.

I admit I could be wrong, but I'm game to find out....

Democrats and Liberals, can you cite an example of something the GOP/Conservatives have said or done that gave you a "Hell No, they'll never get my vote this time" reaction?

Why they don't have to do anything, they won and everyone loves them!
So just stop cock block Obama and let him solve all our problems!
I give it 2 weeks and the sack of shit Obama will be blaming Bush again and the Justice league for teaming him up with Aquaman, made the brothers car smell bad yo!

i don't think it's a bit funny.

Simply pointing out the obvious...you want to blame "Obama" yet Federal Law only requires him to put out a budgetary request, which he has done. It is then up to Congress to hammer out the details. Since all revenue and appropriation bills must originate in the House of Representatives (technically not true for Senate Appropriations but that isn't what we are talking about is it?) then tell me who really is not doing their job?

that would be harry reid.

As much as I think the Dems could do better than Reid, he's not in the House of Representatives is he? You know which house that is right? The one where all revenue and appropriations bills are supposed to start? You know...like the ones required for the Federal Budget?
