Democrats Move Kick-off Game to South Carolina

I always thought Iowa was a stupid place to invest so much time. And it is a caucus which makes it about getting people at a polling site at a given time...not about policy

Better late than never I guess. So tired of seeing some reporter in some grubby roadside diner, in some jerk water town, in the middle of nowhere, interviewing old, fat, pasty white, truck and tractor drivers whose every political opinion begins with, "I tell you what..." and is something no deeper intellectually or factually correct than a right wing bumper sticker or a Rush Limbaugh catch phrase.

You have apparently never been to South Carolina. They are some true hicks.

Carolina sauce is the best.
Sorry my friend, gotta disagree there. Sauces in the Midwest from Kansas City to Texas have that crown.

Never been to a place in Carolina I said I gotta go back to, not the same for the others.

Strongest signal yet that Biden indeed plans to seek a second term. It’s not a sure thing they can pull this off because the GOP state legislature has a voice in these things.

A state legislature denying a limelight for being the first state to vote would be idiotic.

South Carolina’s GOP legislature isn’t the only hurdle. New Hampshire could spoil the plan. Democratic Senator Shaheen has already called it short sighted. Democrats from other states like the two Senators from Nevada are expressing objections as well. I don’t have a dog in this fight. Will be interesting to see what happens.

And how long has the Midwest been flipping the finger at the rest of the country?

Sen. Joni Ernst: Dems gave Midwest 'the finger' by switching up primary schedule

Sen. Joni Ernst, Iowa Republican, said Sunday that Democrats switching their presidential primary schedule to make South Carolina the first in the nation caucus — rather than her home state — is like a "middle finger" to Midwesterners.

I'm not sure picking the seat of the Confederacy was the best idea though.
