In what may be one of the most bizarre episodes of the whole Kennedy saga, RFK Jr. has succeeded in having his own name removed from the North Carolina ballot, after paying to get it put on there in the first place. It's clear that the attacks on him ruined what had been a promising campaign at first, in spite of his throaty voice and controversial statements. Kennedy now wants his name removed, but only in states where he might be a spoiler that hurts Trump. It's clear that while he began as a Democrat, he has defected to Trump and the GOP for reasons having to do with his understandable beef with the DNC. I loved a lot about his message, particularly on the Frankenfoods that are going into our bodies. There are various ingredients allowed in American foods that just aren't permitted in other countries. In other words, ironically given that he's moved rightward, he favors more government regulation. I agree with him on that. I was seriously considering a vote for RFK, Jr. Now I'm back to square one.

This election has only 1 issue; are you better off than you were 4 years ago?

Both candidates have a track record of running the country. Pick the one you think is best for America without regard to personality or politics then vote for that person.

I'm making more money than I've ever made in my life...and I'm still living paycheck to paycheck. So, yeah...no.

Yes. Everyone is. Except those folks who died during Trump's pandemic.

The vice president never runs the country, unless the president is incapacitated. I'm sure this will invite some lame Biden jokes, but Harris never signed a piece of legislation into law or issued an executive order, because she was never running the country.

You ask if we are individually better off than we were four years ago, but then advise us to pick the candidate we think is best for America writ large. Those are not necessarily correlative or causally related. But I'm sure you knew that...

These lying, gaslighting right wing fuckwits also clearly don’t understand how the space-time continuum works, and how President Biden and Vice President Harris (and, by extension, the country) were negatively affected by DonOld’s gross incompetence and corruption when it came to the pandemic, the economy, the climate, social justice, foreign policy, and the election/ peaceful transfer of power.

😑

DonOld owns the lion’s share of the blame for the inflation and the chaos in America and around the world; full stop.

👎

President Biden and Vice President Harris deserve the lion’s share of the credit for overcoming the challenging circumstances THEY WERE LEFT WITH from THE PREVIOUS ADMINISTRATION’ and shepherding the country through very difficult times: President Biden and Vice President Harris ended the pandemic; they avoided a recession that EVERY expert said was unavoidable; they passed landmark legislation; they restored democracy after the J6 insurrection and DonOld’s fascist regime, and they restored honor and decency to the executive branch of the federal government. (President Biden and Vice President Harris restored the soul of America.);full stop.

👍

🇺🇸

Also:

45 comes before 46.

Hope that ^ helps the ignorant MAGAts that don’t understand how the space-time continuum and other linear concepts work.

👍

👉 Ignorant MAGAts 🤣

Never followed Kennedy much, but highly respect his endorsing Trump. Some of his policy positions are pretty good too. Looks like he'll make a good addition to the Trump administration.

Oh, and RFK Jr. is a loon and a joke.
We'll have to agree to disagree. He is absolutely dead-on about the dangers of Frankenfoods and of a cashless economy. Two prime examples of where he is spot-on. I am leery of his argument about the vaccines causing autism, even if true, as if being autistic is inherently bad. Being autistic myself, I don't see where that's the case. He's still correct about the other two things.

I'm making more money than I've ever made and I'm still struggling with the cost of living. I am not better off than I was four years ago. That's just a fact.

Independents 🙄. The affliction that that always taking the middle ground shows moral superiority.

Suuuuuurrre. RFK is right on 2 things. 🙄. So is my broken clock but it’s still broken.

Then you're just not very good with your money.

Ha....try dealing with the cost of living and a disabled wife, a terminally ill sister-in-law, for whom I am the primary caregiver....and when I was alone and single, I had saved up quite a bit on a much lower salary. You quite clearly don't know it's like to deal with this level of cost of living....but suit yourself. Think whatever you like. I don't give a fuck. You're a stranger and I don't know enough about you, except that you like to rush to judgment and jump to conclusions, certainly not giving me any reason to have any respect for your opinion.

I'm sorry for your situation. It sounds like your living conditions changed moreso than inflation affecting you, though. Alone and single is always easier.
