Plus... If I'm at a business meeting that extends over breakfast, lunch or dinner, I expect the host to feed me. A cheese danish is always nice.

No, they’re not studies. Again, a study shows the methodology and the findings. A study opens itself up to be fact checked and lists its steps so others can repeat it. What you’ve posted does none of that and as you admitted none of it goes back to 1857 like you said it would. Anyone can make a graphic, that doesn’t make it a study.
I’m asking you to show me and you can’t. I’m not the one refusing to see here.

My suggestion: instead of just seeking out summeries that you can find ways to dismiss, read old long form papers, letters, and books by those who were there. It's more work but you will actually be informed.

And knowing is half the battle.
