Democratic leaders want the party to stop its Kamala Harris pile-on

You lied by saying I was denying facts that don't exist. Is it really that difficult to understand why your mom is so disappointed in you? "Alternative facts" still rule the moron world.
Blah, blah, blah...more of the same. Just a scratched record repeating the same lines over and over.

Right? I bet you're doggone tired of people calling you a moron and a disappointment.
Actually its funny to me that you are trying so hard to get a negative reaction from me. Seriously who gives a fuck what some anonymous key board tough guy thinks? Say what you want to it means nothing to me. I am enjoying watching you try so hard to piss me off and failing on such an epic scale.

Poor Kamala gets no respect. A NBC News poll released over the weekend shows her approval rating hitting an all time low. 49% of registered voters hold a negative opinion compared to only 32% sharing a positive view, making for a net approval rating of minus 17. That’s the lowest rating of any VP in the NBC News poll’s history.

I love how you bumped this thread. Are you shook?

Her polling numbers are not atypical of politicians in this day and age, the country is incredibly polarized (thanks to hate media and low info morons) and folks are no longer garnering sky high ratings as in the past.

However, she will continue to be the VP and you and the other hard-on MAGAt Boomer bigots will deal with it. I thought wingnuts were about #BlueLivesMatter? She's half Indian and half black...and a woman, kept her "exotic" sounding name, oh my, that's too much to digest for wingnuts stuck in 1964. She has been working with the POTUS to get America vaccinated, recover the economy (which is improving), reducing child poverty, and helped pass an infrastructure law that will eventually uplift Americans. Since the POTUS took over, the economy has created more than 12 million jobs, $800,000 of them manufacturing jobs (you know the kind that your conman traitorous perverted orange Fuhrer promised to bring back). Furthermore, the unemployment rate is at a 54-year low, including near record lows for black workers.

"It provides $550 billion over fiscal years 2022 through 2026 in new Federal investment in infrastructure, including in roads, bridges, and mass transit, water infrastructure, resilience, and broadband." Source: https://www.fhwa.dot.gov/bipartisan-infrastructure-law/

Keep on coddling your sexual harassing, treasonous conman who put American lives in danger. Pathetic.

Dick Cheney hit 19% approval right after Hurricane Katrina. So what if that wasn't an NBC News poll?

Yet you all celebrate the degeneracy and mediocrity of Republicans of the Caucasian persuasion who do nothing but grift from their constituents like IQ45, MTG, and the twit from Colorado (last two were just about to get ready to cat fight on the House Floor). By the way, what exactly has the former POTUS and his VP done for you? Republican voters have got to be the dumbest and most delusional creatures walking upright on two legs.

Here's another poll, while some Dems feel she should do more, she's making some grounds with Independents and Republicans.

This article is from TODAY-Washington Examiner.

"However, among Republicans and independents, the vice president's approval rating is making some headway. Favorable views of Harris among Republicans rose from 8% in January to 15% in April and 30% to 36% among independents, the latter of which could have a significant effect on the election's outcome as candidates look to appeal across the aisle and find a middle ground.

Despite a dip in Harris's favorability rating among Democrats, her overall favorability rating has improved since the beginning of 2023, increasing from 39% in January to 43% in April."

"Currently, her overall job approval rating sits at 43% approve and 54% disapprove, which is better than the low ratings she saw in January 2023 and July 2022. People's opinion of Harris has fluctuated over the months, sitting at 41% favorable vs. 57% unfavorable."

"However, Harris's ratings are not unique to her, according to Democratic Fox News pollster Chris Anderson."

"Harris’s ratings are mostly a reflection of our highly partisan environment in which there appears to be a hard cap on approval ratings for national politicians somewhere in the mid-forties," Anderson said to the outlet. "Harris is in the same boat as all the other national politicians."

Again, we live in a very divided era at the moment. There is still plenty of time until election season. Oftentimes, the competency of women, especially women of color in leadership positions are questioned by certain facets of society, she doesn't shit, she will remain resilient and focused.

Interesting how the righties aren't even bothering to identify anything wrong with what she says anymore. Somehow anything at all is worthy of their sneering. Draw your own conclusions as to why!
How can you identify what's wrong with meaningless word salad? Kamala Harris is the definition of an empty suit. I don't think she's ever had an original thought or a sincere belief in her life.

What makes you think that? She's never struck me as any worse in that department than your average garden variety politician, which she more or less is.

I judge politicians on their stated policies, their real policies, and performance in office. However I do find it interesting that both Harris and Clinton had to attach themselves to popular and charismatic male politicians before anybody would know or care who they are. Both of them are fake, phony, opportunistic, corporate sponsored, political hacks that have no interest in desperately needed public policies like universal health care for average working Americans.

Well they're both pieces of shit if that's what you mean.

Ah yes. 1993. I remember it well. Bill Cosby was America's favorite dad, the Mujahideen were our eternal friends, and Hillary Clinton was for healthcare. Those were the days weren't they.

Hillary Clinton: Single-payer health care will "never, ever" happen

None of that changes the fact that she tried to pass health care reform.

"She was for it before she was against it" doesn't impress anyone who needs to see a doctor and can't afford it.
Anyone who can't afford a doctor should blame the Republicans who blocked that and any other reform from happening for fifteen years. Your attitude borders on victim-blaming.

The idea that Republicans should be held responsible for getting Democratic legislation passed is absurd. Democrats oppose universal healthcare. Just own it.

Biden suggests he would veto ‘Medicare for All’ over its price tag

Former Vice President Joe Biden suggested Monday that he would veto the universal health-care legislation known as “Medicare for All” championed by his primary rival Sen. Bernie Sanders if it were passed after Biden took office.

Top Nancy Pelosi Aide Privately Tells Insurance Executives Not to Worry About Democrats Pushing “Medicare for All”

Less than a month after Democrats — many of them running on “Medicare for All” — won back control of the House of Representatives in November, the top health policy aide to then-prospective House Speaker Nancy Pelosi met with Blue Cross Blue Shield executives and assured them that party leadership had strong reservations about single-payer health care and was more focused on lowering drug prices, according to sources familiar with the meeting.

Pelosi adviser Wendell Primus detailed five objections to Medicare for All and said that Democrats would be allies to the insurance industry in the fight against single-payer health care.

DNC Committee Votes Against Single Payer

Pelosi Gets Hospital Lobbyists’ Award After Blocking Reforms

A top lobbying group for hospitals on Monday gave Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) an award for “her incredible efforts in advancing health care,” after the former House Speaker spent the past four years fulfilling the industry’s top legislative priority: blocking consideration of Medicare for All or any other major reforms to the insurance-based health care system.

None of that changes the reality that Hillary Clinton tried to take the crucial first step towards universal health care. There are numerous reasons why she failed, but to blame only her is just absurd. As is pretending both parties are the same on this issue, even if it is true that the Dems aren't yet prepared to go as far as you and I would like.
