I've heard that Trump and the RNC will be aggressively pushing whomever is the Republican Party nominee for the Governorship and spend millions of dollars. Rick Grenell has said he plans on running IF Harris does pull the trigger.

I’m sure Grenell would be a good governor but the Bay Area and SoCal are deep blue. A Republican has almost no chance in CA. Arnold was an anomaly - popular celebrity and more of a RINO. And yes, I’ve lived and worked there for decades and have family and many friends there.
