Who does America turn to, in troubled times ?

All eyes turned to President Obama, when there was trouble. Obama took time to calm the waters. G.W. Bush could put aside his smirks, and drop his "Texas Good Ol' Boy act, and say something in his Harvard University voice, to let the American people know he was taking the trouble seriously. Bill Clinton spoke in his dad-voice.

A major part of the population of America cannot understand why Emperor Caligula Carrot is allowed to sit in the Oval Office.

Emperor Caligula Carrot insists on speaking in a manner, so that no one can understand what he is saying. Not even the people that he has chosen to speak for him.

Everything has been perverted and twisted, under Emperor Carrot.

The "White House" sends someone out to speak with the media. Last week, someone from the White House was forced to speak as an anon. After that episode, not even an anon response. The statement was issued by "the White House."

Emperor Carrot has aides, staff, advisors, department heads, and none will identify themselves, when they speak for the head of our country.

What should be the leader of The United States of America, is backing up groups that prefers to associate with modern day KKK members.

Men in the Southern parts of America re-started the old KKK, back in the 1900s. It did not last, because the murders were too much to conveniently ignore. It has been nearly one hundred years, since the rejection of the re-started KKK.

(The "Roaring Twenties"- Nineteenth Amendment- Ratified on August 18, 1920, the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution granted American women the right to vote—a right known as woman suffrage. At the time the U.S. was founded, its female citizens did not share all of the same rights as men, including the right to vote.)

Sarah Huckabee-Sanders was the latest edition of translator/ apologist/ spokesperson

Her father, Huckabee, spoke for himself. "Evil," he said.

(Huckabee has an interesting background, and has made some suprising comments.)

The Religious Right Extremists do not trust Huckabee, like they trust Ralph "The Weasel" Reed

Emperor Carrot reveals how far he will go, in order to keep the support of the Extremist Right Wing

"White House officials were caught off guard by his (Emperor Carrot) remarks Tuesday."

He (Emperor Carrot) had signed off on a plan to not answer questions from journalists during an event touting infrastructure policies,

He had signed off on a plan to not answer questions from journalists during an event touting infrastructure policies, according to a White House official not authorized to speak publicly about a private discussion.

Once behind the lectern and facing the cameras, he overruled the decision.

As Trump talked, his aides on the sidelines in the lobby stood in silence. Chief of staff John Kelly crossed his arms and stared down at his shoes, barely glancing at the president.

Press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders looked around the room trying to make eye contact with other senior aides. One young staffer stood with her mouth agape.

Trump sided with those seeking to maintain the monument to Lee, equating him with some of the nation's founders who also owned slaves. Confederate monuments have become rallying points for supporters of both preserving and toppling them.

"So, this week it's Robert E. Lee," he said. "I noticed that Stonewall Jackson's coming down." I wonder, is it George Washington next week and is it Thomas Jefferson the week after? You really do have to ask yourself where does it stop?"

Emperor Carrot continued: "You're changing history. You're changing culture."

The Nazi and KKK associated deplorables rolled into Charlottesville, in a Trojan horse.

The front end of the horse has a banner that reads- "Save our Confederate history." The back end of the horse has a banner that reads- "Free speech is for everyone!"

What pours out of the Trojan Horse, is hatred, violence, and death.

Who is inside that Trojan Horse? Men that celebrate the death of a woman.

Torches Replaced By Candlelight As Thousands Gather For Charlottesville Vigil

August 17, 2017

Memorial services for 32-year-old Heather Heyer, who died after a driver barreled through a crowd of counterprotesters, were held earlier Wednesday. Heyer's mother called on mourners to carry on her daughter's fight against injustice.

At the vigil, people stopped to place their candles around the base of the Jefferson statue.

Emperor Carrot insists on having a rally in Arizona, despite the objections of Phoenix Mayor Stanton

Phoenix Mayor Asks Trump To Delay Visit, Hoping For 'More Sound Judgment'
August 17, 2017

Stanton, a Democrat, is in his second term as Phoenix's mayor, having won re-election last November

"our nation is still healing from the tragic events in Charlottesville."

"If President Trump is coming to Phoenix to announce a pardon for former Sheriff Joe Arpaio, then it will be clear that his true intent is to enflame emotions and further divide our nation."

In a statement about the planned Trump rally, Stanton said, "It is my hope that more sound judgment prevails and that he delays his visit."

In preparation for the rally, Stanton wrote that he and police officers are focused on "keeping everyone — those attending the rally, those expressing their First Amendment rights outside and the general public — safe."

Trump will take the stage at the Phoenix Convention Center on Tuesday at 7 p.m., according to an announcement Wednesday morning.

Pushing his influence on an election, Emperor seeks to add Kelli Ward to his list of abject followers, willing to disgrace themselves in public.

Ex-governor Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer defends President Donald Trump's Charlottesville remarks

Pressed again by Lemon on Trump’s remarks about the Charlottesville violence, Brewer said: “From everything I heard, I don’t have a problem with it."

Kelli Ward recently received national attention by saying McCain, who is undergoing treatment for brain cancer, should step down so that Gov. Doug Ducey could appoint a new senator to replace him. And she said she thought she should be considered for the job.

In a Thursday morning tweet, McCain, who also has long been at odds with Trump, defended Flake as "a principled legislator" who does what's right for the people of Arizona.

"Our state needs his leadership now more than ever," McCain said.

Boston leadership steps forward with proclamation

Republican Gov. Charlie Baker has joined with Democratic leaders to sign a resolution denouncing neo-Nazism and white nationalism.

The resolution states “white nationalist and neo-Nazi groups promote a message that is the antithesis of Massachusetts’ dedication to civil rights” and “seek to re-ignite social animosities, reverse improvements in race relations, divide the nation, and foment hatred, classism, and ethnic eradication.”

Baker appeared with Senate President Stan Rosenberg, House Speaker Robert DeLeo at the Statehouse on Thursday to read the resolution.

Perverse Use of the Law, by Right Wing Extremists

August 17, 2017

Boston Mayor Marty Walsh said Thursday that he and the city were somewhat “forced” to grant the controversial Boston Free Speech Rally a permit to operate on Boston Common Saturday.

The Boston Free Speech Rally received a permit from the city on Wednesday. It will take place from 12-2 p.m. Saturday at the Parkman Bandstand on Boston Common.

Boston Police Commissioner Bill Evans said officers will keep order, regardless of the nature of the rally.

“They’re claiming they’re all about free speech, but it’s not my role to determine who or what they are,” said Evans. “I know we got a job to do, and that’s to keep people safe in the city.”

“We’d rather this rally not happen in our city,” Walsh said. “We’d rather they not be here with their message. But as of right now they’re coming, and we’ll see what happens.”

Gil Scott Heron would say that in times of trouble, some white Americans will turn to the man riding the white horse.

Some black Americans too

Many still wished they'd kept on drinking.

Personally I turn to Literotica for all of my wise advice.;)

America is buckshot fired into an oak tree, a flurry of conflicting and scattered power centers -- no consistent place for truth, justice, and comfort food. No national heroes or heroines in sight. Nobody to save us from ourselves. We'll just have to root around in the garbage like the pigs or dogs we are, What, us? Yeah, we elect pigs and dogs, so we must BE pigs and dogs. We get the gov't we deserve. Remind yourself of that.

If you were willing to strip the government of most of its power, money, and influence… you wouldn’t need someone to come save you from it.
Bored much? Why else bump a dead thread from 2017??? Guess you're wife's getting bored with you now...
