Governor Jay Nixon ordered the Missouri National Guard out of Ferguson, Missouri before the grand jury released its decision on Michael Brown’s shooting death.
As a result – DOZENS of Ferguson businesses were looted, torched and vandalized by hundreds of violent protesters and looters.

The Associated Press obtained an email from Governor Nixon to Missouri Democratic leaders regarding Ferguson Police Chief Tom Jackson who they pressured to resign.

Emails Show That Missouri Governor Jay Nixon Ordered National Guard to Stand Down During Ferguson Riots

Emails show how democrats worked around the clock to appease the rioters (And their financier George Soros?) during the Ferguson riots. Jay Nixon ordered the National Guard to stand down on the evening the grand jury verdict was handed down. Businesses were burned down and looted throughout the night without the Guard on duty. Nixon previously denied that he ordered the National Guard to stand down.

Sen Claire McCaskill had called a meeting to discuss ordering Ferguson Police Chief Tom Jackson to resign. What is a senator getting involved in local matters for? Was she there to apply pressure? This is from the Daily Caller:

“Also, records provided to AP under an open records request include a Nov. 10 email from St. Louis County Police Chief Jon Belmar to an assistant that describes an apparent meeting of state and local officials. It references the potential timing of Jackson’s ‘separation’ and identifies a potential successor……The email lists several names of apparent attendees: McCaskill, Koster, Slay, Rainford, Diehl, Doyle, then-St. Louis County Executive Charlie Dooley and U.S. Rep. William Lacy Clay.

“The email also made reference to a request to Gov. Jay Nixon to place the National Guard in front of Ferguson police headquarters on the date of the grand jury announcement. ‘Apparently the guard will not move to the FPD per the governor,’ the email said.

It will be interesting to see if some of those businesses sue Nixon and the state for failing to protect their stores. Nixon needs to come clean and either admit it was his decision or to name the person or persons who did order the stand down order. It could very well have been Eric Holder.

It was dereliction of duty. Unfortunately, Missouri does not have a recall law for statewide offices.
