It's already 60 degrees Farenheit, and the little yellow butterflies are still flitting to and fro and I'm on my way to go mow the lawn. This is too much of a good thing, but I'm not complaining. Beats being ass deep in snow and freezing. Usually this time of year, we are planning a trip to Mexico to get away from the cold for a few weeks. This year why bother? It's like Mexico has come to visit us for a while.

I could get used to this!

I was thinking the same thing last night. It was 9 pm and almost 50 degrees outside! More like a mid-fall evening than December. And tomorrow we are supposed to reach 60! I'm loving this "winter."

We're not in Kansas anymore Toto! Go ahead, rub it in....it's thirty-five degrees here, the wind is out of the North blowing in over Puget Sound. It's been raining pretty steady here for about three weeks. I have to kick over my motorcycle once a week, to keep water condensation out of the oil.....boo hoo.

Enjoy your warm December, times like these make memories for life!
:D

Drought here since 1998. Lake Lanier, which supplies much of Atlanta is down 12 feet and dropping. Many streams at record lows. Spring was decent, but we've only had 4 inches of rain since August. And no rain in sight.

Living in Florida, we dont get too many cold winters. Its been close to the 80's almost everyday for 2 weeks. It does get hard to be in the Christmas spirit sometimes when you are in this kind of weather. Dont get me wrong I much rather be in this weather then the snow. Just would love for it to be in the 60's ;)

It's supposed to be 65 here today, I had to unpack the summer clothes that I so dilligently put away a couple weeks ago when it was freezing outside.

I am complaining just a little though. My horses all grew their winter coats and are now sweating and getting hot too fast to do a lot of work with them, the scent isn't sticking to the ground, so foxhunting has been sucking, and it's awful hard to get into the xmas spirit while wearing shorts. waaaahhhhhh.

But hey, all of that aside, if I can be comfortable in Missouri in December, I'll take it. Just as long as it eventually turns to winter.

Saturday in Philadelphia, I put my Xmas lites up in shorts and a t shirt..doesn't get any better then that....

Eastern Washington, right on the border with Idaho (the United States stronghold for survivalist/white sheet types). 32 degrees a few minutes ago when i came in from driving kids to school. Snowing lightly, not sticking too much, about a foot of snow on the ground right now. Half an hour away is the closest skiing, 60" of snow at the top. My kids were sledding down the hill in our yard this weekend. Had a helluva snow storm last week, another predicted to begin tomorrow.

I'm getting in my car early tomorrow morning and driving to the San Francisco area, a place where the winter weather makes sense. I despise snow. I'm ***NEVER*** living in the snow again.

It's around 50 here, but it's windy, and supposed to rain soon.

Ick. That's makes it lots colder feeling.

Snow... I love looking at it. For all of 3 or 4 days. I want it for Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Then, it can go away.

Cym's in Washington state? well I'll be damned.. I find this out now! WTF? Why wasn't I told earlier? or was I? hmmm damn airheadedness anyway.

I told you months ago, darlin', and it might as well be Idaho, in any case. I can almost spit into northern Idaho from the balcony off my bedroom.

For less than 24, hours, that is.
Less than 24 hours.
Hot damn!
Then it's back to where the weather makes sense and the people don't scare me.
:D

Good god.. I'm losing my mind.. I don't remember you telling me.. hell I don't even remember what I had for dinner last night. I've either used way to much blond hair dye.. or had my brains fucked out. Looking back over the last few years of my life.. I know it's the hair dye :D

Well Cym.. I wish you the best in your new home. And I will remember this time where you live. (I wrote it in my Lit members stalking notes notebook ;) )

Our long-term forecast

is in the upper 40's for the rest of the week.

Not that I believe in the forecasts. But so far this is a wniter to remember.

Those horses will need thier winter coats soon enough. Don't jinx it! ;)
