Whoever the hell you were, even if you were just a made up entity, thank you. Thank you for lending your name to the coffee I enjoy most in life. The folks at Peet's who hopefully are paying you or your heirs royalties for the use of your name affixed to this nectar of the gods don't necessarily deserve you. Well, maybe they do because they are good people. After all they had to concept of the blend that brews so well, that makes my mornings come alive -- along with yours truly -- and that charges a freaking arm and a leg for their deliciousness. Regardless -- it's your name on the box (okay along with the Peet's brand but who cares). I will miss you though for the next few days. Off to a tradeshow -- I'll have to drink the evil Green Mermaid swill instead but I'll be thinking of you Major. All the fun times we have in the early mornings as I can barely pry open my peepers. But that flavor and aroma as I steam the almond milk into the cup -- mmmmm yes it's just like sex. Except for the hair-pulling and such.

I am glad you found the Amazon route to potential caffeinated bliss. I would take issue with their having EVERYTHING I need. I looked. Nope, a couple of items that I could not find. Of course if they had them, the Prime thing would in fact be beneficial. Don't know how they would wrap the stuff I need anyway -- I mean those inflated plastic baggies -- no bueno for living things.

We've known each other for 20+ years...we've laughed, cried, joked, and had serious talks. I'm at my limit though and it's hard to express how annoying it's been. You who make double, if not triple my salary and b/c we are roommates you decide to cook the steak *I* bought, and you proceed to eat it...Ummm okay it was mine. So then when you go grocery shopping you buy another steak...and in magic marker you write your name on the plastic packaging. Did you even think about replacing the steak I bought, that I didn't get to eat?!?! Thanks

You effectively ended anything we had by telling me "you've got so many amazing qualities, but I'm moving next month and I want someone to come into your life who can stay. That's what you deserve. Something way better than I can give." My heart hurts SO much right now the part that sucks is I know you felt the connection! You didn't deny it. I guess I can't fault you b/c you were honest, but regardless I hurt I would've waited for you, I would've tried, and it hurts knowing you didn't think I was worth trying for or the wait. Good luck finding the one you want, and know I'll always think of you affectionately - even though my heart is aching.
