dear mom's therapist,
you hurt her today and you'll deal with me. i have a lot of pent up rage, so trust me, it won't be pretty.
i'm watching you.

Dear X,

The last time I came to see you, you kinda freaked me out.
Please please numb me fully before you start drilling this time.

Dear X

So glad your in my life.. so very glad I am a part of your life:

So love thinking of you..;)

Dear Young Programmer Dude,

Yeah, I know, you're good. Yeah, I know, it seemed obvious to you at the time  (no it didn't...).
Now, though, over a year later it's not obvious to anyone...
A little commenting would go a long way.
I know you think us old guys don't know shit...but I've been where you are, and you're not where I am yet...you might get there, you might not.

Dear Nat's Computer Fixer,

I wish you would either get more knowledge, as you seem to know enough to be dangerous, or encourage him to get help elsewhere.

I know I will come to love you one day, but for right now, I want to cosh you in the head with something.

Dear X,

What do you mean you lost my laptop cord? Was bad enough it took you almost a month to fix the dang thing now you're sayin' you don't have my cord? I surely hope you intend on replacing it at your own expense if not we will definately have a problem.

Dear Co-worker from the Depths of Hell,
Although I have not been doing this job as long as you, I know what I am doing. I'm begging you, please quit following me through the halls, looking over my shoulder, and commenting on what you think I might be doing wrong. It's getting very old and one of these days I just might snap. I have a lot of patience, but it's wearing thin and one of these days you're going to see a temper that few have seen.

Signed,
Keep Pushing, Sweetheart, and Feel the Fury of Taborgirl

Dear quiet as a clam,

I know you're upset but that's why I told you to call me. I thought that would make you feel better to talk about it.

She's just a nosy woman who pushes my buttons and made me cry in a bathroom last week for half an hour, because she got me so frustrated.

sheesh! I hate dealing with micromanagers---my best response is to question them to death---everylittle thing from can I go to the bathroom to can I go home now. . . .eventually they just avoid me to avoid the constant barrage. .

damn now its starting to sound like my sex life

This almost fits into the Rants and Rambliings thread and was inspired by it but:

Dear Produce Manager:

I know that it is important to be able to have the checkout people identify the different vegetables by a code so they can be rung up properly. I also know that you put different prices on different grades of the same fruits and vegetables so differentiating them at the checkout is essential. Fine -- I get it.

However, is it not possible to use a different method than to adhere little stickers to each and every piece of fruit or vegetable? I mean I am sitting here with a sliced red bell pepper. I didn't pay much attention the stickers since they were already wrapped in a two-pack and I thought the UPC code on the outer wrapper was doing to do the job. But NOOOOOOO. Both of these little beauties has a sticker on it. Not only that -- the stickers are now sliced into the fruit itself. Okay I can still peel off the sticker halves right? WRONG. Whoever made the determination that the stickers should now be affixed with what appears to be Super Glue should be shot. There is no freaking way to get these things off of there -- short of the application of a blowtorch. Now I like roasted bell peppers too but c'mon -- I wann have the choice to eat them raw or cooked. Not cooked because I had to get the damn stickers off.

As I ponder the prospects and consider that maybe the sticker can count as "dietary fiber" I remember that I also got some nectarines and a couple of pears. Yessir -- nothing like peeling your fruit starting with the sticker. These things are not supposed to be peeled. And I don't buy the story that I should consider these little tags as a convenient Zip Open feature to the fruit.

There are some obvious solutions to this ya know. First -- have ONE grade of these products available. Hell, mix the good with the bad and sell them for an average price. Then have a little cheat sheet for the checkout people to refer to so that they just enter that number when they see the item come to them. That way -- no one gets hurt and YOU, Mr Produce Manager, no longer having to worry about folks trying to sneak a piece of the more expensive version of the same damn item in with others of "lesser quality". Read that last word as PRICE you scumbag. The other solution is to train your folks who do the buying to NOT accept lesser quality goods and then try to pass them off as being "ON SALE".

In the meantime I'll just keep a toothpick handy so that when I chomp down into the sticker and it wedges between my molars I can at least get rid of it that way. Perhaps with a hunk of dental work but -- small price to pay for trying to eat well.

Sincerely -- Produce Maven

Dear Co-workers

You guys are, without a doubt, the most appallingly ignorant people I've ever worked with.

Me.

Dear Potential New Boss

I look forward to our meeting. Everyone says "i've got the job". But really it's up to you. I know the job inside and out...you'd be crazy not to choose me. There is more than just a job at stake here, I would get to move back to town and be happier all around.

Just pick me and we'll all be happy. You won't regret it.

Dear Mother Nature,

Must you make it rain everytime the kids have soccer practice? I know we need rain but I really don't enjoy sitting in it for 3 hours. It could rain all day tomorrow and I won't complain but please give me a break...this is the 3rd Saturday in a row that I'll be out in the cold rain.

Signed,
Hoping it stops raining before I have to leave.
