It's a long story. I work in security, and there is no fudging on being there. They need a warm body in my spot and If I'm not there, someone else has to be there to fill my void. That means they pay overtime to that person. They won't do that.

This was a major change in the schedule. They don't happen that often. But, when they do, it's the luck of the draw, that your schedule will suffer. My schedule wasn't the only one changed, and you only heard my story. I'm sure there were others that had plans of some sort and are also unhappy with the changes. Management doesn't care. They can't single me out for a favor or they would be forced to do that for everybody, which is just not possible.

Actually, if they were better organized with planning the schedule changes, they could maybe work out a few issues before they happened. But, we are talking about someone who has a minimal education, but because of his length of time in the company, has moved up to the top.

Trust me...moving up in that company has nothing to do with intelligence. They pick people who can't use their heads for anything but taking orders from a superior. They don't want someone making decisions on his own, without management's OK. And his lack of ability to make an adequate schedule for 25 people only affects those 25 people.

But, I think I can get my sisters to meet me part of the way up there, so I can ride with them. It will depend on which sister is driving, and who's house they are leaving from. It also means I'll have to listen to their gossip about the relatives on the way home.

Hopefully, with my lack of sleep, I can sleep through the gossip.

P.S. The rumor I heard last night was he's changing the schedule again, because so many people complained. I don't know if that is good news, or bad news. Sure, it could end up in my favor...but it could just as easily get even worse. I guess I'll find out if the rumor is true on Monday.

I don't know when or if this schedule will ever happen, but if it happens before Thanksgiving, the drive up to dinner with relatives would be OK, but I couldn't stay long after dinner, because I'd have to work that night.

You know? If you are just trying out different scenarios to see how they work out, I don't see this as the best way. But, if you are just seeing who you can piss off...you might be doing OK. You only pick on certain people (the peons) on each shift, while your favorites don't see their schedules change at all. AT ALL! That sure tells me a thing or two.

Well, maybe I should wait to see if this one is actually put into use. But, if this most recent change was because you got so many complaints about the last one...well, I'd say you ain't doing any better with this one, bub.

I can empthize.

I had a "boss" once who did everything she could to make me unhappy and uncomfortable at my job. The schedule was a big nasty tool she'd use on me. I lasted almost a year with her. I was miserable and outraged most of the time. I stayed due to being stubborn and wanting to make the place the best for our public I could.

Finally she made me an ultimatum that basically meant I couldn't do my job well anymore. There was no prep time allowed. Not even in my off hours. WTF?

All this time I'd been taking jobs on the side. Still it was quite a leap of faith when I left.

I left at a great time for me and a terrible time for her. BONUS!

I still hope seriously bad things happen to her. I want her to die in a long painful process.

For years I was a 32A. Had kids. Nursed both. Was as big as 34D at one point. After that, I became a 32AA (means half a cup, not a cup and a half and not double the cup).

Two weeks will make a year since the long hospital stay, and lung surgery.. and a full year as a non smoker (afetr 25 years of smoking). Better health = better body now.

At 39 years ..5'3" ....I went from 32AA-22-30, ..... 85 pounds.

TO

Turning 40 in about 2 months ... 5'3" and feeling ten feet tall with 34B-26-34 .... 110 pounds.

I aint complaining at all. I like my body for the first time ever, other than being pregnant (was the only 2 periods of time in my life when I had an ass to fill my jeans and breasts to give reason for a bra).
I AM however fully admitting to being GREEDY. I'll take all the boobage I can get at this point. ...
