Dear Shoe Stores and Shoemakers,

I have size 10.5 feet. I know I'm not the only one. Whoever made up the rule that stores would carry either just up to size 10 or skip 10.5 and sometimes have an 11? I love shoes!! I would own at least 50 more if you all would carry my size. Women's feet are getting bigger. I'm tired of only being able to get my shoes on-line, or wear shoes that are a little too big or a little too small.

Glad to hear that. I try to council non-violence, but it always sounds hollow when I do. Too much desire in me to swat down people what have transgressed against those I love. Luckily I control those urges, but, wow, I still feel like a fraud when I try to advise somebody to do the opposite of what I would want to do in their shoes...

Pfft, I have a full size difference between left and right foot. Try to find a store that will help with something like that. I usually buy either compromise sizes, hoping the slightly tight one will stretch out and the tying the loose one tighter. That sucks when I'm buying shoes for athletics and fit is actually important, and, ugh, if I'm hiking, I'm screwed. Boots ain't cheap, and ill-fiting boots are a no-go.

I am suffocating. I am tired of conforming to life in your narrow little world and playing by your narrow little rules. When we first met, you knew that I was non-monogamous. You knew I was bisexual. You knew I was kinky. How come you have forgotten all of those things over these past years? I fully realize that it is not your "thing." That's fine. I don't need to satisfy those desires with you. In fact, I would rather not to begin with. You gave me a "talking to" last night about what fidelity is and how my very basic emotional involvement with other people makes me a "cheater." Well, quite frankly, I don't give a damn. I can love more than one person and be perfectly happy. Yes, I love him, with my whole heart. It doesn't mean that I love you less based on that fact alone. What makes me love you less is never feeling good enough for you, constantly being required to do more and more just to make you happy. Wait, no, let me correct that. Just to keep you "pleasant," because you are certainly never happy. Why is it so hard for you to pay me a compliment? Something simple..."your hair looks nice..." I would LOVE to hear one pass through your lips, without me fishing for it first.

It's wearing on me. It is bone-grindingly hard to get up every morning and know what is in store for me that day. Know that there is no "escape," know that I am stuck just where I am, just how I am, and what really hurts is that you know my pain and don't give a shit about it.

Wear an extra sock or two.. or three even (whatever number works) on the smaller foot?
If it don't solve the shoe issue at least it will resolve the mateless sock problem that every household seems to have.

At this point I would be glad to buy two pairs of shoes to get a show to fit each foot. Buying fun, sexy shoes that I will be wearing more in the bedroom than out I really don't care how tight they are. But I have been looking for a pair of black ankle boots for a long time now. One of the stores in our area advertised a big show sale for this weekend. There were tons of shoes, none, not one pair of any type fit me!

The day before yesterday I took my daughter to a shoe boutique. She is constantly teasing me about my love for shoes. I go in and the lowest price shoe in the store is $225. So beautiful, so sexy and functional and made with quality. Any 10.5? Or can they be ordered? Nope.

The only places where I have been able to walk in and buy shoes that fit in my area have been Nautralizer and EasySpirit and the shoes in my size are not my style at all!

Oh well, I guess I need another visit to NYC.
